Rick Guidotti, an award winning photographer, worked in NYC, Milan, Paris and London for a variety of high profile clients including Yves St Laurent, Revlon and L’Oreal. His work has been published in newspapers, magazines and journals as diverse as GQ, People, the American Journal of Medical Genetics, The Lancet, Spirituality and Health, the Washington Post, Atlantic Monthly and LIFE Magazine.

Professor of Family and Community Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine
Carl Tyler MD is a physician, medical educator and researcher at Cleveland Clinic and an author of published prose and poetry. Among his works are "The Pronouncement" which appeared in Pulse: Voices from the heart of medicine and "Swept Away" which appeared in an anthology of poetry in Journal of Medical Humanities.
SELF ADVOCATE JUDGE: JACQUELINE CUEVAS
Jacqueline is a native Southwest Detroit, self advocate, wife and mother of three. Jacqueline’s experience as a disabled person with Epilepsy and a seizure disorder fuels her passion to invite others to redefine their lives, freeing themselves from the limitations that society imposes on us through labels, names, diagnoses, and expectations, creating a world where limitations are shattered, and everyone can thrive. Through storytelling she shares her disability story and promotes self-acceptance, no matter how you identify as an individual. She encourages all to embrace their unique stories, empower one another, and build a more inclusive and compassionate society.

JUDGE: AMANDA HARRINAUTH
Global Ambassador, Special Olympics
Amanda Harrinauth, is a poet and Global Ambassador for the Special Olympics movement. She currently serves on the US Athlete Leadership council, where she represents the Southwest region of the US. Ms. Harrinauth began writing poetry in 2016, after receiving a diagnosis of autism at the age of 26. Her work has been published in Autism Parenting Magazine, Exceptional Parent magazine, NPR, Women's Daily Magazine, and Autism Parenting Advocate Magazine. She was recognized by President Joe Biden, for a poem entitled “Rest in the World.”
Eligibility
Any AADMD One Voice Conference attendee is eligible to participate.
Mediums Accepted
Stories, poems, and other forms of fiction or non-fiction writing, photographs, paintings, sculptures, drawings, or any other visual media that can be used to celebrate the richness and diversity in family medicine are welcomed.
Awards
The award winner(s) will be recognized at the AADMD annual meeting and asked to present their submission from the podium on Day 2 of the Conference. Award winner(s) will be featured in Helen Magazine.
While submissions remain the property of the author, a submitter grants the AADMD unrestricted use of the material.
